I got the bacon burger basket (12.50) and a peanut butter cup milkshake. The wait was only about 5 minutes (on a Friday at 1pm in April). The double patty was the perfect amount for my hungry self. And while the bacon was super thin, there was an adequate amount and it was crispy. The bun got a little soggy from the condiments in my last few bites, but still delicious. I do wish there was some type of “special sauce” on the burger instead of just mayo, ketchup, relish, etc. But overall this was tasty. The fries were crispy and good, but unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was a Johnny’s-like seasoning blend with (what I assume) is garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Really tasty, just wish there was more of it on each fry instead of just on top. Milkshake was all you could want it to be.
Such a good burger!! And the fries were amazing!! The service was very fast, and the staff was friendly. I don't think you could ask for a better view from the patio! A great spot for a good ol fashioned drive in. Stop by and enjoy the beach after! Can't wait to go back!
The food was so good! I was pleasantly surprised by how great the burgers were--sloppy, but delicious. The shakes were rich and thick (I wish I'd grabbed a spoon). The bucket of fries was enough to share between 5 of us and some left over.
Lakeview Drive In was a lucky find! It is located overlooking beautiful Lake Chelan! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating and the view! Our group ordered different burgers of their choice, and every one was happy! (I ordered a grilled chicken burger - very good!) Good Food & Inexpensive, in a Great Location!
Anytime you're in Chelan, the Lakeview Drive-In is a must stop! The burgers, fries, with special salt, and their homemade thick and frosty milkshakes can't be beat. The outdoor seating is shady and you have a terrific view of both Lake Chelan and the marina.
